The ‘Helle Mitte’ clinic has 24 licensed beds that are integrated into a state-of-the-art infrastructure. Our institution is a renowned centre for spinal diseases that is managed neurosurgically. To provide this specialised care, we cooperate closely with specialists in neurosurgery, radiology, neurology, orthopaedics, occupational medicine as well as physical medicine and rehabilitation.
For doctors
We have been implementing our interdisciplinary spine concept together with our partners for over 20 years. Thanks to many years of cooperation with doctors in private practice, the ‘Helle Mitte’ clinic is able to draw on a differentiated network of cross-sectoral expertise. The following pages provide an overview of our range of medical services. We would be delighted if you decided to contribute to the further development of our joint care structure.
News
Resumption of in-person events planned
In view of the current developments in the Corona pandemic, the ‘Helle Mitte’ clinic is planning to resume in-person training sessions, conferences and advanced training events soon. An accompanying digital information and training offer will also be developed in the near future.
New website of the 'Helle Mitte' clinic
The newly designed website of the ‘Helle Mitte’ clinic has been online since 1 June 2022. The website – with its modern design and updated images – now offers even more information to patients, referring colleagues and interested parties about the clinic’s range of medical services.

Directions and Opening Hours
The "Helle Mitte" clinic is located in the centre of Berlin-Hellersdorf. You can reach us easily and conveniently by public transport.
We are located in the immediate vicinity of the Hellersdorf underground station (120 metres away – two minutes on foot).
You can reach the Hellersdorf underground station using the following means of transport:

From Hellersdorf underground station, walk in a northerly direction along Riesaer Straße for just a few metres. Shortly afterwards, you will reach Alice-Salomon-Platz. House number 2 is located on the left side of the square, opposite the Alice-Salomon-Hochschule (ASH Berlin – University of Applied Sciences). Access to the lift can be found to the right of the Hellersdorf Medical Centre directly in the corner staircase of the building complex. Take the lift to the fifth floor and ring the bell of our ward.
Alternatively, you can also reach the lift via the entrance area at the rear if you approach us from Fritz-Lang-Platz.
